Big Picture:

In order to open my blinds and expose myself to the limited sunlight I get each day, (thanks online classes) I have to twist the blind's control rod. With perfect planning on my part, I positioned an oversized computer tower directly in front of this control rod, making this task unnecessarily difficult.

Solution:

In order to counteract this inconvenience, I plan to design a system that opens and closes the blinds by two consecutive claps.
